Mental Health.
Faith.
Out Loud.

Evidence-based mental health presentations for churches — led by a licensed therapist who holds clinical care and Christian faith in the same hands.

Nicole Butterfield, MS, LMFT — Central Minnesota

1 in 5 adults experience mental illness each year — many sitting quietly in your pews right now
65% of people facing a mental health crisis turn to clergy before a therapist — ready or not

Why It Matters

Congregations carry weight that sermons alone can't address.

Anxiety, grief, trauma, neurodivergence — these live in the pews alongside prayer. Pastors feel the weight but often lack clinical training. Therapists have tools but sometimes miss the spiritual context.

Held Out Loud bridges that divide. Real mental health education, grounded in evidence and delivered with genuine understanding of what it means to hold faith and struggle at the same time.
